Midwifery package fee

Your complete midwifery package fee is $5,800 for 2027 dates. This package includes: primary care for your pregnancy, labor and birth, midwife on-call availability during your due month, all necessary homebirth supplies, second midwife/birth assistant, as well as primary newborn and maternity care for the first six weeks postpartum.

If you’re interested in having a homebirth, let’s set up a consultation visit to talk together about your birth plans.

• I offer an initial consultation at no charge to you. This allows us to talk through your needs and desires prior to making any decisions about moving forward together.

• Laura the Midwife submits claims to your medical insurance through Midwive’s Advantage, (a national midwifery billing service) to help provide coverage for your homebirth. If you are part of a cost-sharing group I can also bill through them. Clients often find that homebirth is more affordable than they were expecting!

• As your provider I work to offer the individual care you need which can also include drawing/collecting for lab work as well as ordering any necessary ultrasounds.

• Regularly scheduled payments will be arranged so that your total midwifery package can be paid in full prior to 36 weeks gestation.
